Harrods has announced an upcoming partnership with the renowned, three-star Michelin Guide chef Masayoshi “Masa” Takayama.

The partnership will see chef Masa bring his signature Japanese cuisine to the UK for the first time in a prime location within the iconic Knightsbridge store.

Takayama has run New York’s three-Michelin-starred sushi restaurant Masa and next-door Japanese restaurant Bar Masa since 2004. He also runs Kappo Masa on Madison Avenue in partnership with art gallerist Larry Gagosian.

Masa will join a host of award-winning and world-renowned chefs that reside at Harrods including Bjorn Frantzen, Jason Atherton, Tom Kerridge, Gordon Ramsay, Mireille Hayek and Angelo Musa.

Harrods has said that further information on the Harrods and Masa partnership will be announced later in 2023.
