Young’s and Co Brewery has announced the appointment of Ian Dyson as non-executive director.
Dyson, who stepped into his new role on 2 September 2024, is currently chair of the board at Currys plc and a non-executive director of JD Sports Fashion.
He has a strong track record across consumer facing industries and public company boards.
He was chairman and before that senior independent director at ASOS, senior independent director at Flutter Entertainment plc and a non-executive director of Intercontinental Hotels Group and SSP Group.
Additionally, during his executive career, he was Group Finance and Operations director of Marks and Spencer Group, chief executive of Punch Taverns and group finance director of Rank Group.
Chair Steve Cooke said: “I am delighted to welcome Ian to Young’s. He will bring a wealth of relevant experience and insight to our deliberations and will strengthen the board’s broader PLC experience base. My colleagues and I are very much looking forward to working with him.”
