A six-cover bar which has been named the “world’s smallest bar” has gone on sale for £80,000.

The Lip Bar is located in London’s Selfridges department store and was designed by Japanese artist Daido Moriyama. Moriyama has also designed Tokyo watering hole, Bar Kuro which features the same lip wallpaper as the London bar.

The bar covers five square metres and will be open around Valentine’s Day, with an hour at the bar costing £10 which will include two bottles of Asahi along with soft drinks or a cup of sake.

Trading at the Lip Bar will continue until 3 March Selfridges’ State Of The Arts campaign which aims to showcase state of the art installations.
