The Butchers Arms, Southam has reopened following a £180k investment by independent pub operators Punch Pubs and Co, with management partners Brian and Selena Ogden at the helm.

The pub has received a transformation complete with new exterior redecoration that is in keeping with the pub’s “natural style”.

The refurbishment extends to the garden area that has been restyled with new furniture and a stretch tent for outdoor drinking and dining, complete with lighting and heating.

Internally the pub’s large central bar area has received a refresh with added newer décor that fits the pub’s authentic atmosphere.

The pub has reopened with an updated menu that features pub classics, including a delicious handmade chicken and ham pie and new take on traditional fish and chips, featuring beer-battered haddock, as well as a Sunday roast.

Selena said: “We absolutely love this pub and the community it serves. We’re thrilled with the results of the investment – it looks amazing, and we cannot wait for our guests and friends to come and have a look! We’re excited to start this new chapter in partnership with Punch, our pub has a bright future.”

Senior operations manager Sarah Edmunds added: “We’re so proud to be reopening the Butchers Arms with our Management Partners, Brian and Selena. It’s a beautiful ‘proper’ local pub, and the investment we have completed here has really enhanced the offer. Brian and Selena are expert Publicans with the passion and love for the local community that will ensure this pub’s success for many years to come.”
