Paragon hospitality is set to open its second Socialite restaurant and bar in Canterbury.

The site will open 1 July as a rooftop venue above the city’s five-storey Hampton by Hilton hotel in St Margaret’s Street.

Socialite Canterbury Rooftop aims to offer a “modern and stylish all-day restaurant, situated in the heart of Canterbury”. It will offer lunch or dinner, with seasonal and locally sourced food.

The menu has been curated by business director and chef Barry Vera and will consist of a steak dining experience from Sussex, the steak is “grass-fed, red breed beef and are cooked to perfection, bringing a culinary Socialite identity to Canterbury”.

The venue will also offer bottomless brunch, cocktails, and live music and is planned to remain open until 2.30am on Fridays and Saturdays, but close earlier on other days. Its doors are set to open at 8am each day.
