Kudu Collective’s bar, Smokey Kudu, has opened at Rixo’s brand new flagship store on King’s Road.Relocating from Peckham.

The new bar is the first of the group’s brands to launch outside of south-east London.

The central circular Smokey Kudu cocktail bar offers 30 covers and has been designed by interiors company, Cupla, owned by Gemma McCloskey, twin sister of Rixo co-founder Orlagh McCloskey.

Cupla has created a “contemporary” space using gold, pink and olive green by sustainably sourcing the interior features.

The interiors also feature a terracotta clay flooring complemented by Murano glass lamps with two preserved palm trees.

Customers can choose from a range of Smokey Kudu’s cocktails such as the Kudu Spritz (Aperol, Guanabana, Prosecco) and Braai Negroni (Red Berries infused Smokey Whiskey, Italian Bitter, Sweet Vermouth) alongside a curated selection of sparkling, red and white wines.

Non-alcoholic offerings include the Kudu Tai (Watermelon, Almond, Pineapple, Citrus) and Virgin Paloma (Virgin ‘Campari’, Guava, Grapefruit Soda).
