Independent restaurant and bar operators Buzzworks Holdings has announced it is opening its first pub, hosting live music and offering beer, cocktails and food.

With the opening of the pub, named T-Bar, Buzzworks Holdings has invested over £750,000 in its Ayr venues over the past six months.

The pub will have a large focus on live music and plans to attract big names, starting with Mark Morriss from the Bluetones. T-Bar will also have its own T-Bar sessions, which aims to help the growth of the local music scene.

Kenny Blair, managing director at Buzzworks Holdings said: “The hospitality industry is constantly evolving and we saw an opportunity to create a cool and modern pub with a twist, which would both suit the local market and sit alongside our excellent restaurant offering at the Tree House.

“Although connected to the Tree House, we are keen for the T-Bar to be recognised in its own right and look forward to welcoming both Buzzworks regulars and new visitors to our latest venture.”

The bar will also have its own multi-purpose events space that can be booked out for special occasions as well as an indoor courtyard area featuring art from Scottish artists.
