Greene King launches new app with loyalty rewards

Greene King has launched a new mobile app designed to allow customers to book tables, customise food and drink orders, and pay across its pubs and brands.

The app, introduced on 10 September following a multi-million-pound investment, replaces the company’s previous platform and incorporates a new loyalty scheme offering rewards, discounts and personalised offers.

Features include quicker checkout, repeat orders, a map view of locations and app-exclusive offers. 

The launch is part of its wider investment in digital technology to strengthen customer engagement and support pub teams in delivering service.

Founded in 1799, Greene King operates more than 2,600 pubs, restaurants and hotels across the UK.

Kevin Hydes, group marketing director, said: “The new Greene King app is clever, intuitive and gives our customers a seamless and hassle-free way to book, order and pay across all our pubs and brands. 

“This is so much more than an app update; this is a significant digital shift to put our customers first and reward them for their loyalty at the same time.”
