Tortilla has announced the appointment of Emily Bagshaw to director of central operations as of this January, simultaneously joining the executive team.

The appointment comes as a promotion, as Bagshaw first joined Tortilla in January 2024 as head of central operations.

She joined the burrito chain from TGI Friday’s, where she was central operations manager. Previously, she was brand project manager and new store openings operations manager at the restaurant chain.

Since joining the company, Bagshaw has been credited with transforming its operational capabilities in managing its delivery partners and optimising Tortilla’s performance on this channel, as well as leading on multiple projects, building better communication into stores and organising various key company gatherings.

In her new role as director of central operations, Bagshaw’s role will expand to leading Tortilla’s franchise relationships, delivering the group’s corporate sales strategy, and bringing a voice to customers through partnerships with the marketing team.
