Roadchef appoints Tim Gittins as new CEO

Roadchef Limited has announced the appointment of Tim Gittins as its new CEO.

Gittins brings over 15 years of board level experience in the motorway services sector. Prior to Roadchef, he served as chief revenue officer at Bink, a UK-based loyalty app.

He has also held other senior positions including strategy director at Moto Hospitality, head of retail purchasing at Ocado Group and food category manager at Marks and Spencer.

Roadchef is a motorway service and hotel accommodation operator with 31 locations across the nation serving over 50 million visitors each year and employing 3,500 people.

The group has achieved Platinum level of the Investors in People accreditation and were recently awarded a 3 Star Accreditation from the Best Companies employee engagement survey. Its brand partnerships include Costa, Leon, McDonald’s and WHSmith.

Additionally, Roadchef manages the Days Inn and Super 8 hotel brands under the Wyndham Hotels portfolio.
