PizzaExpress has appointed Inji Duducu as its new chief people officer, strengthening its leadership team.
Duducu brings more than 25 years’ experience in human resources, having held senior roles across the retail, banking, insurance and healthcare sectors.
She joins from Poundstretcher, where she was group people director, and previously spent eight years at supermarket chain Morrisons as people director for reward and employee services.
Her earlier career includes leadership positions at Benenden Health, CPP Group, the Co-operative Group and HBOS.
As part of the PizzaExpress leadership team, Duducu will oversee all aspects of the company’s people strategy, including culture, talent development and employee experience.
The group employs thousands of staff across its network of UK restaurants.
