Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo has announced a new ‘My Restaurant’ at the rebranded Thorpe Park development, The Springs in Leeds.

The 150-cover restaurant will include a coffee and deli bar where guests can eat in or take away from breakfast onwards, a prosecco bar and alfresco terrace complete with games room.

It will be D’Acampo’s fourth establishment in Yorkshire and third in partnership with fashion retailer Next. The three other My Restaurant outlets are located at the Leeds city centre, Harrogate and Hull.

Work is already underway on the £1.2m development and will open in October.

D’Acampo said: “I’m pleased to confirm I’m expanding my presence in Yorkshire with a fourth restaurant at The Springs, Leeds. It’s a truly impressive development combining great stores, restaurants and leisure facilities; I’m looking forward to being at the heart of it and opening my fourth restaurant in this wonderful county.”

Simon Marshall, joint chief executive of Scarborough International Properties who developed the retail site, added: “We are delighted to welcome Gino and his aspirational brand to The Springs at Thorpe Park Leeds. The new retail and leisure park serves to provide unrivalled new facilities in East Leeds, not least for those that work here but also for the local community, commuters and destination visitors.

“We look forward to announcing further exciting occupiers in the coming months.”
