In his new role, Msetfi, who has 15 years’ culinary experience will lead the new “direction” at Ormer Mayfair, which will focus solely on tasting menus for an “elevated dining experience”.
Under his direction, there will now be three seasonally changing tasting menus available, including a five-course lunch, a seven-course, and nine-course dinner menu, with the option to add wine pairings.
Signature dishes include Cornish Crab with brown crab biscuit, lime, avocado and spiced crab broth; Roast Rack of Dorset Lamb, confit of lamb breast, cucumber and dill; and Truffle Honey Ice Cream, frozen kefir and extra virgin olive oil.
The venue has also appointed Chris Hopkins, as senior sous chef. He has previously worked at Dinner by Heston and at Midsummer House, both of which hold two Michelin stars.
