Hawaiian restaurant Moana Poke has announced that it has opened a new venue in the Trafford Centre, its second UK site.

The new Moana Poke kiosk opening aligns with Trafford Centre’s focus on providing healthy fast-food options.

The arrival of Moana Poke in the Lower Orient also coincides with Trafford Centre’s newly opened and refurbished dining area in the Upper Orient.

Bruce Gardner, head of commercial partnerships at Pradera Lateral, said: “We pride ourselves on the diversity of Trafford Centre’s dining offer and Moana Poke introduces a fresh and alternative culinary option for our visitors.

“Following the arrival of complementary dining options Rolled and Plant Bar, Moana Poke further develops the healthy eating offering for customers on the go. The evolution of Trafford Centre’s F&B offering has been a key focus and we are delighted to see it coming together so successfully through so many unique and exciting dining brands.”

Abdullah Stanikzai, director of Moana Poke, added: “Trafford Centre is the perfect location to expand our footprint in the UK. Growing up here, I always felt the lack of healthy, flavour-packed dining options. We are excited to introduce Manchester to poke bowls and contribute to the local dining scene.”

Founded in Brugge, Belgium, in 2019, Moana Poke has sites across Europe and the UK.
