Korean street food brand Bunsik has opened a site in Cabot Circus, marking its first outlet in the South West and its eighth location across the UK.
The business, known for its Korean corn dogs, launched in Bristol in September. The company said the new restaurant has seen strong early demand, with queues reported during its opening week and continued weekend footfall.
Bunsik first opened in London in 2021 and has since expanded across several city locations. Its dishes have proved popular on social media platforms, drawing attention to the growing profile of Korean street food in the UK.
The Bristol site is set within the Cabot Circus shopping centre and is aimed at attracting shoppers seeking a quick meal during the Christmas period. The company said the restaurant offers a casual option for those looking to try Korean-inspired snacks and hot dishes as visitor numbers rise during the festive season.
Last year, the company opened its seventh UK location in Chinatown London at 31 Wardour Street in October. The menu at the Chinatown London location introduced new items like the Ramyun Corn Dog and Fried Kimbap. The brand has other outlets across London and Manchester and is exploring franchising opportunities.
