Bam Karaoke Box, the Parisian-born “premium luxury” karaoke brand, has announced the appointment of chef Sabrina Gidda as consultant culinary director, ahead of its UK debut.

The new site, which will open this Spring, will become the “largest karaoke venue in Europe” with 22 private karaoke rooms, the Bam Bam bar, an outdoor terrace and live music stage and DJ booth.

Gidda will bring her culinary expertise to Bam, combining modern European cuisine with French influence.

Served both in the Bam Bam Bar and in the karaoke rooms, guests can select from a menu of small plates which will feature a variety of seasonal dishes and “best-in-bar” bites with a “Parisian flair”.

Gidda’s signature dishes will include Devilled Eggs Gribiche with crispy parsley, Steak Tartare croustade with dijonnaise and Maldon Cure Salmon Rillettes with pickled cucumbers and crostini.

Guests can also select from a range of flatbreads including the Confit Duck and Orange Marmalade or opt for the Exmoor Caviar with smoked salmon and creme fraiche.

The menu will also feature traditional items but with a modern European twist, including the Bam Fried Chicken with hot honey mustard, Mini Croque Monsieurs with fennel salami and reuben sauce, Smoked Tomato Croquettes and a Merguez Sausage Hot Dog with yoghourt aioli and herbs. The site will also offer a drinking snack, gilda.

Additionally, Bam Karaoke Box’s drinks menu will include cocktails, craft beers, wine and champagne. Larger groups can also opt for punch bowls to share.

Gidda said: “Music is such a liberator, I love the energy and joy it can bring. Our aim is to infuse that same dynamic energy into the F&B experience. The menu is bold, playful and vibrant – capturing the essence of what Bam Karaoke Box stands for.”
