Catering company Elior has agreed a new deal wth Scottish professional football club Rangers to become its food and beverage partner with immediate effect.

Elior, who are known and trusted by the club for their previous work at Ibrox, have plans for the development and enhancement of the catering offering to the club’s supporters on matchdays and beyond.

The deal will see them assume responsibility for all food and beverage for matchday hospitality, non-matchday conferences and events, the Ibrox Restaurant, matchday retail and Edmiston House.

Moreover Elior also plans to enhance the fan experience at Ibrox and both the group’s will be consulting with representatives from the club’s season ticket holders and hospitality guests in due course to discuss how to provide an even better experience.

Elior Group currently operates in ten countries and is an industry leader in Europe, North America, and India.

Karim Virani, Rangers’ chief commercial officer, said: “We are really proud to have agreed this new deal with Elior and are extremely excited to have them return as our partner.

“The deal will strengthen the offering our supporters receive on a matchday in the stands and in hospitality at Ibrox, as well as in our fantastic restaurant in the Blue Sky Lounge and café in Edmiston House. “Elior’s long term commitment to the club with an extremely strong commercial proposition shows their ambition and stands the club in strong stead for the future too.

“As a commercial department, we are continuing to push the boundaries to secure the best deals for the club and for our supporters, and we believe this new deal does just that. We look forward to working closely with Elior in the weeks, months and years ahead and to growing this partnership into a really fantastic one for everyone connected to the club.”
