Compass Q3 revenues jump 8.6% amid Vermaat Groep acquisition

Compass Group has revealed that its revenues increased 8.6% in the third quarter ended 30 June 2025, with revenue growth of 8.5% year-to-date.
The company saw its revenues grow 96% in North America and 6.6% in its international markets in the third quarter.
It comes as the company agreed to acquire Vermaat Groep B.V., a premium
food services business in Europe, for an enterprise value of approximately €1.5bn (£1.3bn).
Vermaat is on track to generate sales of around €700m (£608m)with a double-digit operating margin in 2025.
Previous to this deal, the group’s net expenditure on M&A was $1.1bn (£820m) for the year to date, largely unchanged from its position at the half year. It stated that the integration of recent acquisitions was progressing ahead of expectations, and they are performing well.
