Blue Apple merges with CH&CO’s workplace portfolio

Workplace caterer, Blue Apple, has announced its merger with independent caterer and Royal Warrant holder, CH&CO.

Blue Apple joins CH&CO alongside its existing workplace businesses Gather and Gather and Vacherin.

Brian Allanson and Ruston Toms, co-founders of Blue Apple, will continue to manage the business and the brand and ethos will remain.

CH&CO operates in many sectors across the UK and Ireland including workplaces, state and independent education, healthcare, venues, stadiums, destinations and events.

Meanwhile, Blue Apple operates across the South East, home counties, Midlands and South West at 58 workplace locations, with a turnover of £14m and employing nearly 300 people.

According to Blue Apple, the merger will help the firm continue “to develop its successful business and allow it to benefit from CH&Co’s support team resources as well as offer its teams additional career development opportunities”.

The merger also expands CH&CO’s workplace portfolio.

Toms said: “CH&Co is a dynamic catering and hospitality business that has impressively bounced back from the effects of the last few years. We’re so proud of what we’ve achieved in developing Blue Apple into the business it is today, and we wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for the hard work and support of all of our people.”
