The Inn Collection Group has been recognised as one of the UK’s 10 best managed private businesses in the inaugural UK Best Managed Companies awards.

The programme, run by Deloitte Private, highlights high-performing privately owned businesses and family enterprises. Independent judges assessed entrants on strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities and innovation, and governance and financial performance.

Sean Donkin, chief executive of the Inn Collection Group, said: “We are thrilled to be acknowledged as one of the UK’s top managed private companies. We are honoured to be a winner of this award as it shows the hard work and dedication of the entire business from housekeepers, front of house teams, maintenance and support centre colleagues. We are very proud of the recognition and thank everyone involved.”

This is the first year of the UK Best Managed Companies awards, which already operates in more than 45 countries. The initiative also aims to highlight the role of private businesses as innovators and contributors to economic growth.

Claire Evans, Deloitte Private partner and UK Best Managed Companies leader, added: “The Best Managed Companies programme celebrates the passion, resilience, and focus on sustainable growth that are hallmarks of the UK’s leading private businesses.

“These businesses are purpose-driven, disciplined, and industry-leading. They are confidently navigating the future and setting an inspiring standard for success among private businesses in the UK.”
