Grind coffee has reported turnover of £16.9m, up from £8.2m but has seen its pre-tax losses increase to £3.4m from £2.5m.

In results submitted to Companies House by its parent company Grind Holdings ltd, for the year ended April 2022, the company reported gross profits of £9.9m compared to £4.7m.

The company stated that its larger sites have bounced back to pre-pandemic levels but that its smaller sites have seen slower footfall as less people return to the office.

It also said that more than 200,000 people had now tried its Grind at Home via its website. It believes it can now reach over 800m customers in the UK, Europe and US.

Grind was started in 2011 by David Abrahamovitch and Kaz James and now runs 13 cafes, shops and trucks in London.
