Firefighters from the North Wales Fire Service have been called out to tackle a fire at the site of a bakery in Wrexham.

The service received a call at 8:41am this morning to a building on Coed Aben Road, Wrexham Industrial Estate.

The fire service sent three appliances from Wrexham, one from Deeside, Buckley, Llangollen, Chester, Oswestry, two aerial ladder platforms and an incident command unit from Rhyl.

A statement by the fire service read: “Members of the public are asked to keep away from the incident. Coed Aben Road on the Industrial Estate in closed whilst firefighters are dealing with the fire. Any neighbouring properties should keep doors and windows closed.”
