Food wholesaler Bidfood has acquired catering supplier Elite Fine Foods, adding to the company’s portfolio which includes Caterfood, South Lincs Foodservice and Cimandis in the Channel Islands.

The supplier delivers to more than 2,500 establishments across the UK, from its seven multi-temperature sites.

Andrew Selley, CEO of Bidfood, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the team and customers of Elite Fine Foods to the Bidfood family. The company is already a thriving and profitable foodservice supplier in the UK, with a real passion for service which aligns perfectly with our mission to provide service excellence and make customers’ lives easier.”
