Indian restaurant chain Farzi Cafe, is set to open its first UK site in London’s Haymarket area tomorrow (19 December).

The chain specialises in experimental takes on traditional meals designed by young award winning chef Saurabh Udinia, such as deconstructed shepherd’s pie and Masala scotch eggs. Farzi Cafe currently operates nine restaurants across India and Dubai.

Farzi Cafe said in a statement: “Destined to alter the capital’s dining dynamic, we are delighted to announce Farzi Café will be bringing its experiential Indian cuisine to Haymarket in London this Autumn.

“Not only shaping the way in which sensory dining is perceived, Farzi Café will also offer a post-modern, laboratory-style bar serving a range of molecular cocktails.”
