Chopstix, UK-based Asian quick service restaurant (QSR) brand, has opened a brand-new store, complete with next generation design at Westfield Stratford.
The new opening, which brings to fruition a brand enhancement exercise for the business, will launch on the former Sticky Rice site.
The newly designed store will place further focus on the brandās core attributes: faster, fresher, tastier. It will feature new uniforms, communication screens, packaging, product descriptors and as a first for the business, all the dishes will be served from woks in a brand-new counter display.
Chopstix plans to use the new format for all its future openings and will retro-fit across the companyās existing estate where possible.
Jon Lake, managing director of Chopstix, said: āThe new opening marks an important step in the evolution of the Chopstix brand and we are confident that consumers will react positively to the changes we have made. This is about us refining our approach, strengthening our image to convey our core attributes, whilst also emphasising how ādifferentā we are to other quick service restaurants in the space we occupy.
āWe are also pleased to be opening our doors within Westfield Stratford as it fits perfectly with our strategy to successfully grow the visibility of Chopstix by increasing our profile within the countryās most popular shopping and retail hubs.ā
Chopstix has over 70 stores across the group with more than 25 outlets located within high footfall shopping centres. The opening in Westfield Stratford marks the continued expansion of the brand, which has seen its outlet count treble in the past two years.
