Chef Quique Dacosta has announced he is to open one of his Arros QD restaurants in London’s Fitzrovia.

The restaurant would follow on from sites in Valencia and Alicante for which Dacosta has earned three Michelin stars. Backed by by the London-based Spanish restaurant group behind Iberica, the restaurant was originally set to open a year ago under the name of InPaella.

Arros QD in Fitzrovia will be based across two floors with a front on Eastcastle Street and will feature a Paella based menu. Arros QD has been quoted as saying the restaurant will feature “25 meters of stove, designed to provide ample quantities of paella for those keen to sample the traditional Spanish dish”.

The restaurant is expected to be the first in an international roll out for the chain, however it is not expected that the restaurant will be looking to acquire the same accolades as the chain’s Valencia and Alicante branches.
