Legends Global, a global venue management and entertainment services company, has appointed Richard Sutton as general manager to lead catering operations for Chelsea Football Club.
Relocating from Las Vegas, Sutton will oversee matchday and premium hospitality operations at both Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow.
Sutton joins the organisation with immediate effect, bringing experience in operations, finance, and major venue projects.
His previous portfolio includes work at Churchill Downs, the USTA Tennis Centre, and The Sphere in Las Vegas.
Prior to joining Legends, Sutton spent over 17 years at Levy Restaurants. His most recent role was vice president of operations, where he managed hospitality businesses for high-revenue venues across the United States.
His tenure also included serving as vice president of hospitality strategy, focusing on the design and development of capital projects such as luxury suites and restaurants.
The appointment follows Chelsea’s selection of Legends/ASM Global as its official catering service provider in July 2025.
The partnership, which commenced at the start of the 2025/26 season, covers all general admission and premium hospitality catering within Club Chelsea’s suites and lounges.
