Freemans Event Partners has been appointed exclusive public food and drink supplier for the Royal International Air Tattoo in 2026, strengthening a relationship that first began nearly 50 years ago. The Gloucester-based company will provide the full catering offer for the show at RAF Fairford.
The business, founded in 1975 by Stephen Senior and Karen Freeman as a single fish and chip unit, first worked with the then International Air Tattoo in its early years. Freemans Event Partners now supports more than 650 event days annually across the UK and overseas.
The company’s renewed role comes as the Air Tattoo recorded more than 178,000 visitors this year, with organisers reporting that ticket sales for 2026 are already 20% ahead of the same point in 2024.
Gavin Gager, CEO at Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises, said: “We are excited to partner with Freemans Event Parners to bring a new high-quality catering offer to our visitors.
“As the leading large-scale food and drink partner for a huge range of leading global events, Freemans Event Partners is well suited to help the world’s greatest airshow to take its catering offer to new heights.”
Next year’s programme will centre on fast jets as part of the event’s Fighter Meet theme and will mark 30 years since it received its royal status.
Stephen Freeman, executive chairman at Freemans Event Partners, added: “The Air Tattoo is an event our family have a long association with, starting with my family selling fish and chips at RAF Fairford in the 1970s.
“To be working with the Royal International Air Tattoo all these years later is fantastic and we are looking forward to elevating the customer experience with exciting new food & drink concepts.”
