Luxury caterer Rocket Food has appointed Charlie Grant Peterkin as managing director as the company expands with the launch of a new workplace dining venture.

Grant Peterkin has been with Rocket for more than 20 years, most recently as commercial director.

He previously served as director of sales and marketing and has worked closely with founders Michael Symonds and Caroline Hall throughout his time with the business.

Symonds and Hall will continue to play an active leadership role as Grant Peterkin takes on the new position, which coincides with the introduction of Table to Table,  a service designed to bring restaurant-quality food to London offices.

Based at Rocket’s Battersea kitchens, Table to Table provides catering for workplaces without onsite kitchens, offering seasonal menus and flexible dining options.

The service also includes café and pantry operations, team events, and pop-up food experiences, supported by collaborations with emerging and established food brands.

Rocket Food, founded more than 25 years ago, is known for catering high-profile private events, weddings and sports hospitality, including partnerships in Formula 1.

Grant Peterkin said: “Food has always been central to how people come together. At Rocket Food, our mission is to be the facilitator of memorable events, weddings and private parties, with our food setting the stage.

“I feel incredibly privileged that Michael and Caroline trust me to take Rocket forward and launch our new delivered-in hospitality brand, Table to Table. We believe that when teams eat well, they work better.”
