Indian street food café chain Chaiiwala has officially opened a new branch in Staines as part of its wider expansion strategy targeting shopping centres, drive-thru locations and high streets.
The new café, located at Two Rivers Retail Park in Staines-upon-Thames, adds to the Leicester-founded brand’s growing UK presence.
Established in 2015, Chaiiwala serves Indian street food and Karak chai – a spiced tea brewed with a blend of seven spices – alongside breakfast and lunch dishes such as roti wraps, Bombay bowls and naan wraps.
The company said the opening supports its aim to reach 500 global sites within the next decade as demand for high-quality and accessible Indian food continues to grow.
Sohail Ali, co-founder of Chaiiwala, said: “We’re extremely excited to open our latest store in Staines. As a leading retail destination with strong footfall, our opening in Staines will provide an opportunity for flavour lovers to enjoy a unique taste of India through our all-day street food menu. This will help us introduce more consumers to the brand and support our strategic objective of transforming Chaiiwala into a household name.”
The Staines café continues a run of recent openings for the chain, which has expanded rapidly from its Leicester roots into major cities and towns across the UK.
