Australian-inspired restaurant group Daisy Green is set to open a new terrace and barbecue venue, Margot Green, in Clapham Old Town in mid-July.

The new site will feature open-fire cooking, a rotating menu of 12 dishes each night, and a dedicated margarita bar.

Dishes include Skull Island prawns with dashi butter, Char Sui Glacier 51 toothfish, dry-aged T-bone steak with mushroom XO, and wood-fired bread served with vegetable and cheese dishes such as blackened carrot with labneh and apricot harissa.

The drinks menu includes whole watermelon margaritas and 12 cocktails, alongside what the company describes as “one of the largest Australian wine lists in the capital”, with more than 100 bottles.

Margot Green follows the success of Larry’s bar at the National Portrait Gallery, which received several accolades in 2023, including “Best Cocktail Bar” from Secret London and “Best UK Cocktail”.

Daisy Green operates 19 restaurants and cafés across London, including Paradise Green in the City, Ziggy Green and Colony Room Green on Heddon Street, and floating venues such as Darcie and May Green in Paddington and Peggy Jean at Riverside Green in Richmond.

The group also runs an arts initiative that integrates contemporary works into its hospitality spaces in partnership with London-based artists.
