J D Wetherspoon has revealed that it is set to open a new venue, The Humber Stone, at Haven Cleethorpes Beach on 7 March.

Haven has invested around £1.7m in the new pub, part of a wider investment of around £6.7m in the expansion of its exclusive partnership with J D Wetherspoon.

The exclusive partnership also includes new openings at its Kent Coast, Devon Cliffs and Haggerston Castle holiday parks.

The Five Stones at Primrose Valley became the first J D Wetherspoon pub to open at a Haven park in February last year.

Ben Coulbeck, manager of The Humber Stone, said: “We’re thrilled to kick off the 2025 season by welcoming our owners and holidaymakers to our brand-new pub, and to bring our exclusive partnership with J D Wetherspoon to a new park for guests to enjoy throughout the year.”

John Hutson, Wetherspoon chief executive, added: “We are looking forward to the opening of The Humber Stone. We are confident that the pub will be a great addition to the holiday park and be popular with people of all ages.”

The pub’s name reflects its location in Humberston, which is believed to originate from the ‘Humber Stone’.

During July and August, The Humber Stone will be open Sunday to Thursday from 08:00 to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 08:00 to 01:00.

During March through to June, and September through to November, the pub will be open Sunday to Thursday from 08:00 to 23:00 and Friday and Saturday from 08:00 to midnight.
