Roadchef has announced that a number of new brands, including McDonalds, Costa and WH Smith, will be arriving at Folkestone Services on the M20.
The new on-site venues will be open 24/7 to offer round-the-clock access to food, drinks and shopping for travelers.
Costa has benefited from additional upgrades such as an outdoor seating terrace, while all other brands have implemented self-serve kiosks to offer all visitors “the highest levels of convenience and comfort”.
In addition, Roadchef will be introducing new EV charging stations to meet the increasing demand from electric vehicle drivers in the UK.
McDonalds, Costa and WH Smith’s openings will create some 80 new jobs in the local areas, spanning from management and supervisory roles as well as administrative positions.
According to Roadchef, the job openings will be a mix of full-time and part-time, and will come with comprehensive training for successful applicants.
Mark Fox, CEO of Roadchef, said: “We’ve always prioritised the needs of our customers and with the introduction of 24-hour services, high-speed EV charging, and top brands, we aim to provide a more convenient and comfortable experience for all travelers.
“This investment at Folkestone reinforces our long-term commitment to enhancing the infrastructure and amenities that support all road users across the UK’s motorway network.”
