Piccolino Caffé Grande in Manchester city centre has reopened its doors following a refit and refurbishment to deliver an Italian dining experience in the city.
Located on Clarence Street, overlooking Manchester Town Hall, the restaurant has been a restaurant institution for 23 years and its latest investment is set to strengthen its stature as a sought-after restaurant for authentic Italian dining.
Seating 250 diners across its decadent restaurant, Piccolino Caffé Grande sources ingredients from specially selected suppliers directly across Italy.
As part of the transformation, diners will be welcomed by golden accents and Piccolino blue hue interiors. Refurbished furnishings include new booths, tables and chairs, floral installations, a renovated brass ceiling and decadent bar area.
Diners can watch chefs through an open kitchen, try cocktails and a collection of fine wines from the bar area overlooking the grade one listed Town Hall.
In addition, the private dining room at Piccolino Caffé Grande will remain part of the restaurant, catering to up to 40 seated guests or 80 standing.
Andrew Garton, CEO of Individual Restaurants, said: “Piccolino Caffé Grande is truly an iconic institution in Manchester’s vibrant hospitality scene and has been the go-to for authentic Italian dining for two decades.
“It’s our intention to be the most sought-after restaurant for the finest Italian cuisine in the most elegant setting with the greatest hospitality for decades to come and the latest refurbishment reaffirms our commitment to delivering that.”
