Admiral Taverns reopens Glasgow pub after £340k refurb

The pub is part of the Proper Pubs division at Admiral Taverns which is part of a £27m plan aimed at improving a number of community pubs

Admiral Taverns has reopened The Brockburn, formerly The Pollock pub, in Glasgow following a £340,000 refurbishment.

The pub has been completely redecorated with an updated bar and lounge area to create a “warm and inviting atmosphere”.

Outside, the pub has been given a “vibrant and modern look”, including brand new lighting and signage, to welcome customers.

In addition, impressive new bi-fold doors have been installed to allow for easy access to the outdoor space.

The pub is part of the Proper Pubs division at Admiral Taverns which is part of a £27m plan aimed at improving a number of community pubs.

Margaret Drennan, operator of the Brockburn, said: “Opening night was fantastic! It was amazing to welcome all our customers, old and new, back into the pub to check out its fresh new look and see what it has to offer. The feedback we’ve received from the community so far has been amazing, and we can’t wait to see them again soon!”
