JD Wetherspoon has announced that it has agreed a deal with holiday park operator Haven to operate pubs on its sites.

The agreement will see £1.1m invested into the first Wetherspoon pub, which will open its doors in March at Primrose Valley in North Yorkshire.

The deal means that Haven is the first and only UK holiday park operator to enter a commercial partnership with the pub company.

The new partnership is part of £4m investment from Haven to expand its food and beverage offering in 2024.

Wetherspoon joins a number of companies currently operating at Haven’s 41 parks, including Burger King, Papa Johns, Slim Chickens, Costa Coffee, Millie’s Cookies and Chopstix.

Peter Blake, Haven COO, said: “We are thrilled to be the first holiday provider to partner with one of the UK’s leading and much-loved pub operators. This new venture underlines our dedication to growing our food and beverage partnerships and offering for our holiday makers and holiday home owners.”
