Shake Shack has announced that it is set to open in Oxford on 18 December, its 15th UK location.

Shake Shack Oxford is set over three floors, with a prime location on Cornmarket Street, a major pedestrian shopping hub in the city’s historic centre.

The interior is inspired by local college culture and artwork by Ellie Fryer will feature on the walls with unique illustrations.

Shake Shack will donate 5% of sales of its Union Shake concrete to Oxford Mutual Aid, a local charity support system for at-risk communities.

The news comes after Shake Shack announced that CEO Randy Garutti will retire in 2024.

He will continue to lead the company as its CEO and as an executive board member through that time.
