Chiswick restaurant, The Silver Birch, has announced the appointment of Thomas Proden as the venue’s new general manager.

A seasoned hospitality management professional, Proden will take over the role with more than 15 years of experience in customer relations, team leadership, and business development.

According to Proden, his passion for enhancing customer experiences, fostering employee development, and his love for “exceptional” F&B makes him a perfect fit for The Silver Birch.

He joins from Les 110 de Taillevent, a French fine-wine restaurant in central London

Prior to that, Proden also held the position of assistant manager at the Hakkasan Group.

Tim Price, owner of The Silver Birch, said: “His extensive experience and proven track record in the hospitality industry will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of The Silver Birch. We are thrilled to welcome Thomas to our team.

“His vast experience, coupled with his passion for customer service and team development, aligns perfectly with our mission. We are confident that under his leadership, The Silver Birch will continue to provide our guests with an unforgettable dining experience.”
