Operator of Indian restaurants, MW Eat, has announced a new Masala Zone branch is set to open in Piccadilly Circus this coming June.

The new site, which will be housed in a historic building adjacent to the statue of Eros and seat up to 150 people, will be the group’s seventh restaurant in London

According to the group, it will initially be open for lunch and dinner, but will also offer afternoon tea and breakfast in due time.

The interior of Masala Zone was also inspired by India, combining contemporary design with the restaurant’s “interior hallmark”.

In addition, the restaurant will also offer private dining in the form of ‘The Leopard Room’ for functions of up to 32 people.

Ranjit Mathrani, chairman of MW Eat, said: “We are delighted to be adding Masala Zone Piccadilly Circus to the MW Eat portfolio. To be opening in such a central location is wonderfully exciting and we look forward to welcoming customers new and old to enjoy the wealth of tastes India offers. “

The group behind Masala Zone also operates fine dining restaurants Chutney Mary, Amaya, and Veeraswamy.
