Smoky Boys has opened its doors at the Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth in a 3,659 sq ft unit located in the upper mall next to Five Guys.
Founded in 2015 by Sharif Rahman and Hiron Miah, Smoky Boys offers guests a fully halal menu serving barbecue and grill meat dishes which uses “well-sourced”, “premium cuts” of beef, British lamb and chicken.
The menu includes gourmet-style burgers, tender smoked BBQ ribs, popular grilled chicken wings and its specialty, 30-day dry-aged steaks.
The eatery also serves several vegan and vegetarian options, including a halloumi stack as well as a vegetarian quesadilla.
Guests living within close proximity from Southside will also be able to order food to takeaway.
Smoky Boys marks the fifth new opening at Southside Shopping Centre in the past three months following the recent launch of Black Sheep Coffee, Brew Dog, Miniso and Soletrader.
Rahman, founder of Smoky Boys, said: “We’re thrilled to open our 12th restaurant at Southside Shopping Centre.
“As a brand, we are passionate about creating a premium offering, with specially chosen high quality produce, so we are looking forward to welcoming guests from Wandsworth and beyond to our newest grill haus.”
Pieter Strömbeck, centre director at Southside, added: “We are delighted to welcome Smoky Boys to our line-up. It is a great brand that will provide visitors to the centre with an even wider array of culinary options. We are confident our guests will enjoy feasting on juicy steaks, delicious burgers, tucking into tender chicken wings at the BBQ and grill haus and much more.”
