Hospitality brand The Signet Collection has announced the opening of the Coppernose Café on the grounds of its first hotel, The Mitre, overlooking Hampton Court Palace.
The property was once a gift shop next door to The Mitre hotel, a Grade II-listed boutique hotel on the banks of the River Thames.
Besides being located opposite Hampton Court Palace, it is also close to Bushy Park and is easily accessible from the A308.
The neighbourhood café formally opened on Friday 3 March and will cater for breakfasts and lunches, as well as pastries and cakes for hotel guests, locals and passers-by.
The café will stock sourdough loaves by local bakery Cavan, as well as homemade sandwiches, toasties, wraps, croissants and baked cakes, as well as Pact Coffee and Twist Tea.
Hector Ross, founder of The Signet Collection, said: “We are thrilled to open the Coppernose Café, which marks an exciting new chapter for The Mitre.
“Ever since we opened The Mitre, we have hoped to become a much-loved staple in the local area, and we hope The Coppernose Café will be a base for the community and all those who visit Hampton Court Palace.”
