Q Catering has announced the appointment of Steve Clarke as its new managing director, with aims to drive the company to annual turnover of £20m by 2030. 

The Sittingbourne-based firm plans to increase its healthy ingredient options and plant-based ranges. It currently provides to over 830 businesses across the UK and South East, ranging from pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, schools, nursing homes, and leisure centres.

Clarke joined Q Catering in September 2021 as managing director, with more than 25 years experience at Kent Frozen Foods as purchasing and marketing director.

Clarke said: “There are exciting times ahead for Q Catering. I’m thrilled to be working with the team to put systems in place which will help grow and take the business to the next level. 

“The company already has solid roots in the wholesale industry across Kent and the South East, and we are committed to continue expanding our range of high-quality products for hospitality and foodservice businesses this year.”

He added: “I have a strong vision for the company and believe Q Catering can be a leader in the industry. We are driven to provide high-quality products, advice, and customer service at all times, and that’s something that will never change.”
