Cosy Club, the restaurant brand managed by hospitality business Loungers, has selected centre:mk Milton Keynes for its latest location, which is set to open in autumn.

Located at 3-5 Silbury Arcade, the 6,000 square feet restaurant will span two floors, and it marks one of only a handful of Cosy Club sites in the South East. The new site will also serve the brand’s classic menu and curated drinks offering.

Cosy Club Milton Keynes will join venues in UK towns and cities including Bath, York, Liverpool and Manchester. With 32 sites across the country, Cosy Club has been designed for an occasion-led demographic.

The signing follows the news that global lifestyle brand, Ted Baker, is set to open a new store at centre:mk, covering a 2,150 square feet space.

Loungers said that, according to a report by Irwin Mitchell and the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr), Milton Keynes is set to have one of the fastest growing economies in the UK by the end of 2023.  The city is predicted to see 2.6% year-on-year GVA growth in Q4 2023, with £600m of GVA added over the next two years.

Hux Norman, property and acquisitions manager for Loungers, said: “Every site is carefully selected to maintain exclusivity. Cosy Club is at home in prime city-centre and regionally dominant locations and centre:mk is a leading force in the South East.

“We are delighted to add to our ever-growing portfolio of exceptional locations and cannot wait to welcome the beauty and refinement of Cosy Club to the South East.”

Kevin Duffy, centre:mk’s centre director, added: “As a leading name in the F&B landscape, we are proud to announce the signing of Cosy Club for its next location. Centre:mk is the first choice for leading brands expanding into the South East and we are committed to ensuring both the retail and F&B offer is unrivalled at our destination.”
