Kojo to open second London site

Kojo, a plant-based eatery, has announced plans to open its second site this month, in London’s Liverpool Street – where the group will launch its new ‘Kojo to Go’ concept focusing on “grab and go only”. 

The restaurant concept, which opened its first site in December 2020 in Hampstead, was launched by Nobu London Portman Square executive chef Michael Paul and nutritional therapist Alina Gromova-Jones. 

Its flagship Hampstead site offers customers the choice to eat in or takeaway. However, the group’s new ‘Kojo to Go’ stores will focus solely on serving “fresh food on the go”.

The outlet will serve “balanced and healthy meals” such as miso-glazed aubergine, teriyaki rice bowl, Goma ramen, Tulum tacos and Thai basil rice paper rolls.

Alina Gromova-Jones, co-founder of Kojo, said: “Kojo is born out of a passion for nutrition. 

“Creating a menu that can do good for ourselves as well as our planet, that places us at the centre of a growing community which is prioritising the health of the environment in order to protect our own  health and wellbeing.”
