Salad bar brand Tossed has been acquired out of administration by former directors Neil Sebba and Angeila Harrison.

In July the company filed to appoint administrators, as the brand grappled with the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 crisis.

However, Sebba and Harrison now have plans to save the new company and have made arrangements to acquire at least six of the store’s premises.

The acquisition will be made under the duo’s new venture, BNW foods LTD.

Director Sebba said: “The past six months have been impossible for food service in London, and to see Zest go into administration in July was extremely difficult for everyone concerned.”

He added: “Angelina and I are delighted to be given the opportunity to save this wonderful brand. We are thrilled Londoners will still be able to get their Tossed fix.

“No doubt the winter trading in London will remain extremely difficult as the covid-19 situation unfolds, but we are working with a group of landlords and an administrator who have approached this crisis collaboratively.”
