Camile Thai Kitchen has announced the opening of a new site in Barnes South West London, with further units to follow later this year in the capital.

The group said it has seen its like-for-like sales in London grow by over 35% in 2020, which also takes into account trading during the UK lockdown.

Camile Thai Kitchen said it is also “actively seeking” new locations for its franchisees in London and surrounding areas.

The group recently launched a cloud kitchen franchise model for hotels, bars and restaurants in Ireland, in order to re-open and breathe new life into businesses that have been “negatively affected by the pandemic”.

Jonathan Dockrell, UK general manager, said: “Delivering fresh, healthy and delicious Thai food to discerning Londoners is our top priority and we know it’s a service people love.

“Barnes is a community we have wanted to serve for some time and the locals have been so welcoming to us – as we move into the old and very popular Annie’s Restaurant location – it’s really humbling.”
