Revolution Bars Group has unveiled a restructuring plan as sales rose 8.3% to £82.3m for the 26-week period ending 30 December 2023. Group like-for-like sales for the four weeks from 4 to 31 December 2023 were up 9%, the best festive period since 2019. Despite a strong festive trading period, the pub group said that the macroeconomic trading environment continued to provide a challenging trading environment.

Crêpeaffaire has launched a search for new franchise partners to support its UK expansion plans. The company has recently secured an airport partnership with SSP, while a US launch is planned for autumn this year. Christie and Co has been tasked with securing partnerships with a number of ambitious hospitality entrepreneurs or investment groups.

Spice and Grind will run the ground floor coffee shop in the £36m Eden building in Salford. Opening to serve both Eden occupiers and the public, the café will act as a connecting point between those working in the building and the wider New Bailey community. The founder and owner of Spice and Grind, Samantha Seddon, will be overseeing a menu of coffee along with an array of light bites.

The team behind Paparazzi Café will open a new concept, Fellini, on 6 May in Chelsea. Based on the previous successes of Paparazzi Café, the team intends to restore authentic Italian hospitality into the London dining scene. Fellini aims to showcase a healthier, holistic approach to Italian food, with a focus on “nourishing and fuelling the community whilst offering true quality”.
