Hospitality groups saw sales grow 5.2% in March, having been aided by early Easter Bank Holiday revenues falling that month. According to CGA and RSM’s latest Hospitality Business Tracker, celebrations delivered “particularly” strong growth for the managed pub sector, where like-for-like sales were up by 7.2% in March.
Carringtons Catering had its most profitable year to date as it celebrates the 20th anniversary of current owners Helen and Darren Wynn. The Wynn’s took over the reins of the business, which operates right across the North West, back in 2004.
Molson Coors will invest more than £100m in its UK business infrastructure over the next five years. The plan includes investments to improve brewing capacity and packaging capabilities at Molson Coors’ largest UK facilities, in Burton-on-Trent and Tadcaster.
Loungers has opened a number of new sites, bringing the current total to 257 sites. The sites range from brand new developments to former banks, retail outlets and restaurants on the high street and in shopping centres, demonstrating the variety of the Lounge concept.
