High numbers of vacancies within the hospitality industry continue to be reported throughout the country. Chris Gamm, chief executive at Springboard, told Catering Today how the recruitment crisis has been exacerbated by a series of different factors, including low levels of confidence about a career within the industry

Is there a recruitment crisis in hospitality at the moment? 

In short, yes. But there has been one for many years, even for decades, there haven’t been enough staff in the catering industry in the UK.
