An Indian restaurant is giving away free meals everytime Harry Kane scores at the World Cup.
The Dilshad restaurant in Chadsmoor has created a curry in honour of the England forward called the ‘Kane Korma’.
When a customer orders the ‘Kane Korma’ they are given a ticket and can then redeem a free main course if Kane scores in the match following the order, if he scores two they can redeem a two course meal and if he gets a hat-trick customers can redeem a free three course meal.
The restaurant is also offering meals themed on England’s other forwards Jamie Vardy and Marcus Rashford honoured with the ‘Vardy Vindaloo’ and ‘Rashford Rogan’ respectively. The same rules apply if the players score following the order of a meal named after them.
Owner of the Dilshad, Tony Uddin said: “Harry Kane is costing us a fortune at the moment as we are having to give out lots of free meals.
“But we are absolutely delighted that England are doing so well and we hope he can score lots more goals and help to bring home the World Cup for England.
“The Kane Korma is certainly proving to be popular in the restaurant and I think more customers will be ordering one in the hope that Harry can bang in a few more goals and they can continue to dine on us at the Dilshad for free.”
